I am very fortunate to have a father with such a keen imagination. While growing up I remember he would tell my siblings and I stories about a giant named Gargo. While I don't remember much from these stories, they made enough of an impression that Gargo has kind of become the family mascot.
There are no pictures of Gargo, no detailed descriptions, no videos, etc. When you think about Gargo, you must rely on your imagination. The only details I remember is that he lived in a giant cave at the edge of the orchard (I grew up surrounded by orchards).
Over the years, I have mentioned Gargo every now and again. Once, after mentioning it to my children, they asked me to tell them the story. After some pressure, I relented and made up a story. Not just any story, a story with a moral - obey your parents because they are trying to keep you safe.
That story was the beginning of many, many requests for bedtime stories. So I decided to create this website. Not just to share the stories, but for me to record, track, and possibly improve on them. So, in reality, this is a site of bedtime stories. Enjoy!
